Parliamentary Delegation pays a visit UĦM
A cordial visit to UĦM took place on the 14th May 2013 from a Parliamentary delegation led by Mr Speaker Dr Angelo Farrugia. He was accompanied by the Hon. Mr David Agius and Hon. Dr. Micheal Falzon representing opposition and government respectively.

MCESD on a cordial meeting with UĦM
A cordial meeting took place on the 9th May 2013 between the UĦM officials and the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD) Chairman Mr John Bencini and Secretary Ms Sylvia Gauci.
During the meeting proposals related to enhancing the work of the Social Partners within the MCESD were discussed. UĦM took the opportunity to propose the idea of setting up action committees, whose role will be to ensure that proposed and discussed incentives are
Jobs+ Launched Today
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat this morning launched the Jobs+ at Lufthansa Technik, together with the Jobs+ social partners sitting on the MCESD. Jobs+ is a scheme based on the Active Labour the Jobs+ social partners sitting on the MCESD. Jobs+ is a scheme based on the Active Labour Market Policy (ALMP) proposal presented by UĦM and endorsed by all the social partners.

UĦM would like to congratulate the newly elected MEPs following the casual elections held on the 24th April, 2013. UĦM welcomes with pleasure the news of having three elected women as MEPs for the first time for Malta and in having such a gender balanced representation within the European Parliament.
UĦM signs a new Collective Agreement for the Archbishop’s Curia employees
UĦM and the Archbishop’s Curia signed a new Collective Agreement for its employees on Friday 19th April 2013.
The Collective Agreement is valid from 2012 till 2014 and covers the Administrative and Industrial Employees within the Archbishop’s Curia. This Agreement featured an increase in bonuses, an increase in salaries and an agreement on the Code of Ethics.
UĦM signs a New Agreement with Arrow Pharm Ltd.
UĦM and Arrow Pharm Ltd. signed the First Collective Agreement for its employees on Friday, 12th April 2013. The Collective Agreement featured enhanced working conditions and is valid till 2015. Sergio Vella, CEO
