UĦM deplores violence on workers

Following the recent incident on two social workers of the Richmond Foundation, UĦM would like to show solidarity with these social workers, their families and their colleagues. UĦM strongly deplores violence of all types, especially towards workers on duty and urges more effective measures towards employees’ security at the place of work.

For this reason, today Monday 3^rd June 2013 at 17:30, UĦM will be joining the Maltese Association of Social Workers (MASW) in a silent demonstration in Republic Street, as a sign of solidarity towards these social workers, whilst helping the MASW in raising awareness on violence at the place of work.
