Diploma in gender, work and society

Are you looking to broaden your horizons, build new skills, and deepen your understanding of gender equality between women and men in today’s world?

We encourage you to apply for the Diploma in Gender, Work and Society – a two-year evening programme starting in October 2025 at the University of Malta. Lectures are held twice weekly from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, with a flexible mix of online and on-campus sessions.

🎓 Here’s why this opportunity is not to be missed:

  • ✅ Normally €1,800 per year – now FREE thanks to government sponsorship!
  • ✅ Open to mature students (23+) through the Adult Learner Clause – no formal entry qualifications required.
  • ✅ Learn to explore key issues through a gender lens – including work, psychology, law, sociology, politics, economics, health, culture and more.
  • ✅ Develop your confidence, assertiveness, critical thinking and writing skills.
  • ✅ Learn to recognise and challenge gender-based injustice in everyday life and the workplace.

This course is ideal for anyone who wants to grow personally and professionally while contributing to a more inclusive society. It can also serve as a stepping stone to further studies, including direct entry into Year 3 of the Bachelor in Work and Human Resources (Honours) degree.
